The atmosphere
“A members' club, a music venue and a pool club under one roof.”
Rockwell Group designed it around the Gulch's railroad heritage and Nashville's music: speaker walls, rock photography, local embossed leather and an original FAILE artwork in every room. A Jimi Hendrix mural by Bryan Deese covers the façade.
The Living Room lobby is always full of music, often a live performer, and the concrete Spanish Steps double as an amphitheatre. The crowd is young, well dressed and there to celebrate, which is exactly the point.

A vintage jukebox, record player, kitchen and wet bar. Smaller than the city's biggest suites but the most playful by far.
Also in the collection: Studio Suites (~478–490 ft²) with a table for four and wet bar, Cool Corner Suites (~556 ft²) over the WET Deck, and Marvelous (~740 ft²) and Superior Suites (~760 ft²) with soaking tubs.

HOW IT COMPARES
No other hotel in our collection has a celebrated chef's group running three venues. For a group, the most convivial dining in the city; for a quieter, more serious dinner, Yolan or Drusie & Darr. The original Andrew Carmellini restaurants have closed, so older reviews are out of date.
POOL AND FITNESS
WET Deck
10,000 ft² with a 2,000 ft² L-shaped pool, private cabanas and seasonal food and drink for hotel guests.
How it compares: the most sociable pool in the city. The JW's deck is similar in size and heated year-round.
FIT fitness centre

How it compares: There's no spa. We can arrange treatments at The Joseph's Rose or 1 Hotel's Bamford.
Location
In the Gulch, Nashville's most fashionable neighbourhood of boutiques, murals, restaurants and bars. Broadway's neon isn't on the doorstep, but the restaurants are better and the crowd more stylish.

Yes, by design: live music in the lobby, a rooftop bar, a 10,000 ft² pool deck and José Andrés Group restaurants. Our first choice for birthdays.
What happened to The Dutch and Carne Mare?
The original Andrew Carmellini restaurants were replaced in spring 2026 by José Andrés Group's Zaytinya, Bar Mar and Butterfly.
Does it have a spa?
No, but there's a 24-hour gym. For a spa, we'd suggest The Joseph or 1 Hotel.
How big are the rooms?
Entry rooms are about 380 ft². Suites run from 478 ft² to the 1,800 ft² Penthouse Suite.
How far is it from Broadway?
About a mile: roughly 20 minutes on foot or under 10 by car.
