OUR PICK FOR COUPLES
High-floor Corner King
~340 ft² · wider views
A little less floor space in exchange for a wider view of the city.
DOWNTOWN · BETWEEN SOBRO AND THE GULCH · BY MUSIC CITY CENTER

Our verdict
A 33-storey glass tower with a heated rooftop pool deck open all year, Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak at the top and room for a bigger party. Rooms are smaller, and service less personal, than at the more intimate hotels. But for groups, celebrations, conferences and anyone who wants a resort-style pool in the city, it excels.

Rooms on the same floor, with a Griffin Suite as your gathering place.
“The scale and energy of a great city hotel, with always something going on.”
The lobby is busy: a wedding, a conference, a celebration on its way up to the pool. Subtle nods to Nashville's music run through the design, and the residential-style rooms are calm once the door closes.
It's built for groups: everyone gets a comfortable room, the pool deck takes a big party with ease, and dinner at the top of the tower is a showpiece. Couples after intimacy will find the Four Seasons, The Hermitage or The Joseph more personal.

WORTH KNOWING
Breakfast is expensive when paid separately, which guests often mention. Booking with us includes it.
The JW's signature. Around 12,000 ft², heated through winter and open all year, a rarity in Nashville. Cabanas, daybeds and seasonal poolside dining at Cabana Club.
How it compares: the largest pool deck downtown. The W's deck is similar in scale but rowdier; the Four Seasons and Joseph pools are calmer.
Five private treatment rooms across 4,000 ft². The fitness centre is open 24 hours.
How it compares: smaller than The Joseph's Rose (5,500 ft²) and not in the same league as 1 Hotel's Bamford.
On 8th Avenue South between SoBro and the Gulch. Lower floors on the Gulch side can hear trains, so we always request a high floor.
ON THE DOORSTEP
Plenty of rooms, a huge pool deck and the Griffin Suites.
The best year-round pool downtown.
50,000+ ft² of event space; elite members get the JW Executive Lounge.
Two-queen rooms, a pool and a welcome for dogs.
Less suited to: couples after intimacy (the Four Seasons, The Hermitage, The Joseph), anyone needing a large standard room (The Hermitage, the Conrad), and those who prefer a quiet lobby.
| Hotel | Choose it for | CHOOSE THE JW FOR |
|---|---|---|
| W Nashville | A celebratory atmosphere, livelier group dining, a fashionable neighbourhood | A heated year-round pool, more rooms and walking to Broadway |
| Four Seasons | Larger rooms, river views and more personal service | A bigger, livelier pool and space for a large group |
| Conrad | Larger rooms and one huge suite in a quiet Midtown base | Walking to Broadway and a spa |
