Noelle Nashville

DOWNTOWN · FOURTH AVENUE AND CHURCH STREET · ON PRINTERS ALLEY

Noelle Nashville, Downtown

Our verdict

A 1930 landmark reborn as downtown's most stylish boutique hotel, with Rare Bird on the roof.

Noelle reopened in 2017 in the 1930 Noel Hotel building, with a new tower beside it. It is full of local makers, from the shop to the print studio, and it has one of downtown's best rooftop bars. Rooms are compact, but the suites are excellent, and you're a five-minute walk from Broadway.

The atmosphere

“Art Deco bones, a maker's spirit and a rooftop that locals queue for.”

Noelle keeps the 1930 building's character, including the ballroom's original arched windows, and fills it with work by dozens of Nashville artists and makers. There is a shop, a gallery and a working print studio.

It feels creative and relaxed, rather than formal. Mornings start in Drug Store Coffee; evenings end on the roof.
