A countryside escape within an hour of the city.
A 325-acre working farm resort with the largest spa among our countryside stays, a lake, an orchard and a farm-led restaurant recognised by Michelin. The perfect partner to a Nashville stay: two or three nights of fresh air, long lunches and spa time before or after Broadway. Where Blackberry Farm is too far or too formal, Southall is the answer.

The atmosphere

On arrival the Middle Tennessee hills open up to farm buildings, a lake and rows of apple trees. Warm woods, big fireplaces, porches and swing beds, all thoroughly modern underneath.
Days are farm tours, yoga, the lake or a long afternoon in the spa. Evenings bring a multi-course dinner, then cocktails and live music at Dottie's speakeasy. Relaxed and unpretentious.

Southall does farm-to-table more completely than any hotel in Nashville. Only Blackberry Farm, about three and a half hours east, is the more celebrated food destination.
